The HAARP (High-Frequency Active Aural Research Program) is the government's new toy. Used correctly it can tear apart the ionosphere, fry your brain, control the weather, or output energy comparable to a nuke anywhere on the planet. That's heavy.
Use of this technology for war would violate a UN Convention. However, the United States Administration has yet to officially provide any evidence that HAARP can be used as a weapon-steadfastly insisting that they only intend to use it for research-so nothing has yet been done about this.
This seems a little short for a post about such a dangerous weapon. Could you tell me more? I want to know as much as possible, seeing as it's such a threat to all of humanity. Why does this weapon even exist? Isn't it dangerous to give any human such enormous power?
